Application:Glucosidase is an important member of glucose metabolism pathway in organisms. α-glycosidase p-Nitropheny1-a-D-glucopyranoside(PNPG)+H2O a-D-glucose+P-Nitrophenol (PNP)
PNP has specific absorption at 405 nm. The activity of PNP was calculated by measuring the change rate of absorbance at 405 nm.

An enzyme activity unit is the amount of enzyme that produces 1 micromole of PNP in one minute under the following reaction conditions, expressed as one unit.
