Acridinium ester, a type of chemical substance that can be used as a chemiluminescent marker, with a yellow powder appearance. In alkaline H2O2 solution, the molecules of acridinium ester are affected by hydrogen peroxide ions. The ring C-9 and hydrogen peroxide form unstable dioxane, which decomposes into CO2 and electron-excited N-methylacridone.
Acridinium ester reaction process
