Application of CAPS
At present, the PVD transmembrane of protein has not used Tris-gly, SDS, 20% methanol buffer, because there is glycine in the buffer, so it is difficult to distinguish whether glycine is brought in by Buffer or the protein itself when sequencing. Now the transmembrane buffer used for sequencing is 10 mM/1 CAPS 10% methanol, and the methanol concentration range in CAPS imprint buffer is 0-20%. In general, the buffer with high methanol concentration is paired. The transfer efficiency of low molecular weight proteins is good, while the buffer with low or no methanol concentration is beneficial to the transfer of high molecular weight proteins.

The purity (> 99%) is water-soluble, the process is stable, and the appearance of the product can be guaranteed to be pure white crystal powder.
Preparation of CAPS
prepare 0.1mol/L buffer solution with the volumetric flask. During the configuration process, the buffer needs high temperature dehydration, and cooling in the dryer; preparation of 0.1mol/L sodium hydroxide solution. According to the formula in the above table, the corresponding pH buffer can be obtained, sodium hydroxide is mainly used to adjust the pH.
