MOPS (3-morpholine propane sulfonic acid) is a kind of zwitterionic buffer, namely Good's buffer, is a series of N-substituted amino sulfonic acid, has good pH stability, high polarity, and is suitable for many chemical reagents. And enzymes are inert, do not participate in or interfere with the process of biochemical reactions, and have no inhibitory effect on enzymatic chemical reactions, so it can be specially used for the research of organelles and extremely variable, pH-sensitive proteins and enzymes.
