If the experiment involves reverse transcription, real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR, or RNA library construction, these trace RNases may lead to RNA template degradation, affecting amplification efficiency and data accuracy. For such high-sensitivity experiments, it is recommended to use Tris without nucleases or solutions treated with DEPC and high-pressure sterilization. If conditions are limited and only analytical pure Tris can be used, a buffer solution can be prepared using DEPC treated water and then subjected to high-pressure sterilization.
