It can reduce the yield of non-specific hybrids and improve the specificity of nucleic acid hybridization, while maintaining the yield of target hybrid products, which is of great value in the identification of specific pathogens, the diagnosis of genetic disorders, and the analysis of DNA sequences.   CAPS can be used in various environmentally friendly and high-quality waterborne component polyurethane coatings, and can coexist stably with resins containing active DNA (hydroxyl, carboxyl, amine, epoxy, etc.) for a long time at room temperature. The application of CAPS in coatings is widely used by the waterborne coatings market. In addition, CAPS and aliphatic polyisocyanates can react in the presence of tertiary amine neutralizing agents under mild conditions. The resulting sulfonic acid urea derivatives are very good emulsifiers.   CAPS can be used to prepare the running buffer (also known as electrolyte solution) in capillary electrophoresis, and as the end electrolyte to make the electrokinetic pressurized online enrichment and separation of 2-nitrobenzoic acid and 3-nitrobenzoic acid. The CAPS buffer is suitable for running buffers of high molecular weight proteins (greater than 20KD). If it is a low molecular weight protein blotting experiment, combined Tris with Glycine is generally used, and if glycine is excluded by protein sequencing, Tris-Tricine and EDTA is used.   CAPS can also be used in biochemical diagnostic kits, DNA/RNA extraction kits and PCR diagnostic kits, as buffers for enzymatic chemistry and HPLC separation of alkaline drugs.
